May 19th, 2014

Hello everyone! Here we are again with another wonderful day in Lovell Wyoming! I am going to make this a 9 month area because I am staying another transfer! I love this place, the only thing wrong with it is the fact that you have to shovel the walk in the middle of April! But enough complaining, we have the car this week!
I can't wait for this transfer, it's going to be wonderful!
Finally, we are going to get Arthur baptized! We have been waiting for him to get an aswer from a missionary who previously served here. We have done all we can to find him, found him, and decided we aren't waiting. So maybe this saturday we can get him in the water! We've been trying to get him baptized for the past 7 1/2 months.
We found that there is a den of snakes under our front porch. Nothing dangerous, just snakes. Kinda nice to have someone that will eat the rodents for us.
We had stake conference here in Lovell. It was great! We got to attend all three meetings. The leadership session was really my favorite. It helped to define member missionary work a little better. What I learned from this was that the members are the main missoinaries, and the full time missionaries are really the backup for the members. We only have about 80-90 thousand full time missionaries in the mission field. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had 15 million missionaries? Some ways you can help out can be giving a Book of Mormon to your friend, talking about church, Inviting a friend to have dinner with you and the full time missionaries.
How much do you love your friends around you? You wouldn't want to ever do anything to offend them. I can promise you that if you share the gospel with someone or invite them to join in our church, they will not be offended. I have never offended a friend by inviting them to the gospel. We should share the gospel of Christ with those around us because we love them.
Now you don't have to even say anything to someone to be a member missionary for the Lord. Many times just being a good saint is enough. All you have to do is live the gospel and those around you will notice what you have by the example you set. Missionary work does not have to be a scary thing. In fact, it is much easier than most of us think! I have notice in the area I serve that people are being more open about talking about our church with others. To them, it is just a casual conversation about what they did over the weekend. I have seen the turnaround happening in this area. The work is building up like water in a damn and eventually we will have so much work that it will explode because of the people in this stake!
Sorry about that rant, I get so worked up.
remember to do some sort of exercise in the mornings! Pull-ups are awesome. Ran on our treadmill this morning.
I hope everyone is doing well!
